I'M GOING TO THE QUILT FESTIVAL IN HOUSTON TODAY!!!
I'm uber excited! I live nearby and figured I would treat myself a bit before I have to go to Nutcracker rehearsal. I'm just going to have to stick to my guns and not exceed my spending limit! I will be taking pictures while I'm there and will be posting a few right then and there. Others I'll save for a juicy pic heavy post :D
I also changed the layout a bit. I was bored with the other one. It features the scrappy Japanese + and x that I made a few weeks ago. I will be tweaking a few things, but let me know what you think!
Now onto some pictures! I won Jenelle's Have-A-Hoot Giveaway way back in September and here are my pictures of what I won. I had already purchased the Have-A-Hoot Pattern, so I won all the supplies to make the pillow. I'm about to start the embroidery on the owl. I figure it would be something nice and relaxing to work on when I'm super busy. I really do love hand work.

Yay! I am so excited to see your progress on this as you stitch away! It's the best part of making a pattern. :) I'm also glad you have gotten lots of use out of the pouch too.

This "Hoot" thing gave me a great idea! Next October you should make pink pillows with an owl in the middle that say "Give a Hoot" to support breast cancer. You could donate profits to Susan G. Komen or something. Thought it would be cure with the owl/hoot/hooters!
