Stash and Newbee Quilters

First things first. I will be posting my Tutorial Tuesday soon. I go back to school on Monday, so I've been trying to get last minute cleaning and organizing done. I should have some time to sew soon so I can take you through that great sewing kit tutorial. When I made the first one, I didn't take any pictures of the process. Sometimes it's nice to sew and not worry about blogging it ;)

Secondly, I have joined a bee hive called "Newbee Quilters". It is for those of us who are new to either hives or quilting. I've never been in a hive so I'm quite excited to start! I have my blocked picked out too! If you are interested, go here and sign up. I'm on the waiting list for Hive #6.

On to some new fabric so I'll stop talking hehe

So much new fabric! Now I just need to come up with some projects to make. Are you working on anything currently or gotten in some new stash fabric?

Almost forgot! I got the Janome Hello Kitty sewing machine today! I got it mainly to travel easier with than my Brother, Gerta (which I still love dearly, and is my main machine.) I think I'm going to call my new one Lerla. Great names, huh?

  1. Happy new additions to your stash! We all expect you will be having lots of fun playing with all of your new beauties!

  2. I'm in love with your new fabrics!! And how cute is Lerla?!! Cute as a button!!
Is she noticebly lighter? I love her flowers.

What is the little houses fabric in your low volume bundle? Love that Hua Hua Lu Lu!
You are going to have lots of fun with all of these!

  3. So I saw all the great fabric you got from Sew Me a Song and that was all it took for me to place a nice fat order of fabric. That is a nice little Etsy shop, that has quite a selection. I love getting squishy mail! Cute little sewing machine, I like that you name them, very clever.

  4. Hi Alie, looove the fabrics, oh and that Hello Kitty sewing machine...how cute is that! Can't wait to see what you make for your month as Queen!
